Feel lost?

Here you get lots of tips and tricks for using

MSI Platform Services.

How to help yourself

To say it with Douglas Adams 'Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy': Don't panic!

Before you open a support ticket, have a look into the following hints for password reset, lost MFA linking and other trouble shooting solutions. You can often do this by yourself:

Tipps and tricks

You need a password reset?
  1. Visit our landing page and click onto 'Forgot Password'.
  2. Provide your user name (which usually is your email address).
  3. You'll receive a confirmation that we've sent an email with a security code. Click on "Weiter" to trigger the email.
  4. Check your inbox (or the whole postbox in case you filter emails) and look for an email sent from 'no-reply.password@msi.audi.com' with the subject 'Forgotten Password Verification'.
  5. Provide the security code from the email, we've sent to you and then follow the instructions in your browser.
  6. Type in a new password and confirm it. The password policy will be checked while you type in your new password. Please verify, that it is at least 16 digits long.
  7. In the end you'll receive a confirmation that the password has been changed and you can immediately log-in to the MSI Platform Service applications.

Do you need a new MFA link?

If you have trouble with your second factor (phone change/reset or crash) you need an reset from the second factor linking of your MSI User Account.

→ In this case please ask a colleague with an active MSI User Account to create an IT-Help Ticket at our service desk for you: Get IT Help >

→ If you don't have someone with an MSI User Account, you can write an email to support@msi.audi.com

Your log-in doesn't work?

Your password is up to date and your MFA is linked to your mobile device, but you cannot log-in to the MSI Platform Services?

→ In this case please ask a colleague with an active MSI User Account to create an IT-Help Ticket at our service desk for you: Get IT Help >

→ If you don't have someone with an MSI User Account, you can write an email to support@msi.audi.com

You initially have logged-in with K-UMS and need now access to Confluence or Jira?

If you log-in to MSI Platform Services for the first time, and you do that with your VW Group User (K-UMS), your new MSI User Account will be generated automatically.

As this new account is free of charge, you won't have access to any MSI Platform Service except to our Support service desk and to our MSI Community Space (with knowledge base).

You need access to an MSI Platform Service application? Then you will have to take the following steps:

  1. Ask the Team, you'll have to collaborate with, about their contract ID
  2. Open an Access Request Ticket at our MSI Support Service Desk.
  3. If the team lead approves your access request you can reach the requested service through the provided contract.

If you want to close an own new contract for using MSI Platform Services, please open an MSI Billing Account Request ticket (internal link) at our Support Service Desk or write us an email to contact@msi.audi.com – We will be happy to set up a first meeting and provide you with all necessary informations.
